Tide Gauge Station 海潮测量站
HKOTGS is a visually striking structure with textured concrete, green accents, and warm lighting. It features two open arms extending over the sea, with machinery safely housed inside a protective concrete shell. The interior of the TGS is designed with multiple levels, easily accessible through a spiral staircase. The first level includes a weather camera, tidal gauge, and work space. The second level provides open space for installations and workbenches. The upper roof houses various equipment such as a termination box, wind sensors, and photovoltaic panels. The circulation design ensures safe and efficient movement for workers and offers visitors a comfortable experience, including seating areas, shade, and a shower after swimming. The building's sleek design preserves views of Tolo Harbour and the distinctive open arms make it an iconic landmark.
