The Big House was a project that was born out of the idea of ‘Family’.
It was a passion project of three friends- all in the Television industry, they wanted to create a project that brought live television studio, Production Suites, Editing, Broadcasting under one roof.
The project was to be housed inside an existing warehouse building owned by Dexus group. A simple design approach was taken where the we do not detract from the feeling of one big space.
The result is many ‘houses’ within this ‘Big House’.
As the Project Architect for this project, Julian had to navigate various technical understanding, stakeholder management and coordinate consultants from various disciplines.
